It has no apparent damage or wear, and really you can't even tell it had been installed before, except for a little bit of grease on the lower universal joint which wouldn't be there if it were brand new. The pot metal of the column housing is a little tarnished from being in storage for a number of years. Otherwise it appears to be in like-new condition. Nevertheless, we can not claim that it is new, and it must be sold "as-is".
